Aim passes accurately through small cone gates to develop directional passing.
Set up 4–6 mini gates (two cones, 1 yard apart) scattered across a 10x10 yard grid.
Partners stand on opposite sides of the grid.
Player A passes through any gate to Player B.
Player B controls and passes back through a different gate.
Each gate scored through earns 1 point. Play to 10 points.
Widen the gates to 2 yards if players are struggling to get passes through. Celebrate every gate scored.
Pass and receive using the inside of the foot with a partner.
Keep the ball moving around a triangle to practice weight and direction of passes.
Execute the 1-2 combination pass at pace to beat a simulated defender.
